Wow...to think that 2005 came with a BANG and left with a BANG! I can honestly say that '05 was one of the best years of my life! I learned and matured a lot this year, this year also brought many exciting and new adventures in my life...to sum up here are some of the best and worse memories of 2005...

The BEST of '05
1. I turned 18
2. I Graduated(both good and bad)
3. I got my very first job...Gables Guard all the way =)
4. I met sooooooooo many new and intresting people and friends
5. I got into UM...GO CANES!!!
6. I became a Huricanette
7. I learned how to PARTY like an animal (lol)
8. I somewhat let go of a certain someone, and realized that there are other people out there =/ It still breaks my heart when I think of it.
9. I learned how to take Public transportation!!! Metro all the way!
10. I made it into Braddock
11. I learned how to flirt...woo hoo!!!
12. I got a membership to the gym(2006-here I come)
13. I've become more Independent
14. That thing that happened the other day that I cannot mention ;)

The WORSE of '05
1. The whole "Daddy" situation
2. Still haven't gotten my driver's liscence
3. Still haven't rached my ideal weight(but i'm getting there =) )
4. Was somewhat rejected, by someone I fell head over heels for =(
5. Seeing many of my friends go off to other cities and states for college
6. Eating Disorder...don't ask

Hopefully, 2006 will bring as many good things as 2005 did. I have many goals that are still waiting to be accomplished, and for some strange reason I think 2006 is going to be the "THE YEAR" ...Cheers!

A Quick Sum Up...

*Braddock practices are going pretty good...even though they're extremely exhausting I think we're going to have a good =D
*FBA for the Gables Guard was cancelled, which really upsets me because we all put a lot of effort and time into that marching show...oh well, don't worry girls there's always Winterguard...PARRANDA!!!
*UM is going great, i'm having a blast being on the squad and the football team is for sure going to a bowl game...wherevever it is we are all flying up there, i'm so excited =)
*I kind of sort of have a crush on this boy I met...he is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l ;D He is a football player, he is a "white boy," he is about 6'7 or 6'8 and is pretty thick(yes you all should know the drill by now...i like massive men, tall and husky), we'll see what happens with that...
*i've met a lot of new people which is cool at UM and Dade, everyone is really nice =D

-Well i'm sick of being on the computer so that's it for now.

so many new things have happened since the last time I wrote in this thing, it's out of control...so far, i've been having sooooooooo much fun, I swear that everyday is like a new adventure. I love college life, it's full of intresting things. I love being in "Hurricanettes" it is a lot of fun and I have met many new people and friends...Good Times! Apart, from that I have been partying like crazy(PARRANDA), everyone would tell me that I was a "crazy/party girl" and boy where they right! As for the boys...well, they're there, i've had a few options but if you know me well enough, then you should know that I am the pickiest person in the world! Anyways, there's a couple of guys there, some that seem intresting and one that im like "what the heck"...Once again if you know me well enough then you know...who is on my mind (LOL) OMG, im becoming "tacky" let me be quiet before I spill the beans again! Moving on, I miss my High school friends that moved away for college, especially the two other members of the "Tacky Trio," Tati, and Tara! Well I hope everyone is having a good time and I hope that they are living it off lke the true skanks that they are! In addition, the Gables Guard girls that i teach are doing good...I am very pleaed with this year's squad everyone should go and support them whenever they perform =) GO GABLES GUARD!!!

Band Camp Week/UM-Take 2

This week was soooooooooo Exhausting, but it was fun and I enjoyed it! I think I am going to like college life. I met a bunch of new people some in the band some are in my squad, some in the UM football team and some random =) I definitely underestimated the "Hurricanettes"...i thought it was going to be way easier than what I thought, and although it wasn't horridly hard or anything it wasn't that easy either. I am really excited though about this upcoming season and year...I am venturing off into the grown up world, and I like it...yeah, yeah, surprising to most people that know that I am still a little girl at heart. Well, apart from that, the gables girls are doing good and now that band camp week for me is over I can go back to seeing them and instructing them regularly, I know they are going to have a great year with me and vice versa =)

So yea... many things have happened since the Bacstreet Boys concert the 22nd, here goes...

-The Gables Guard started Band Camp and since I was their instructor I had to be there from 8am-5:30pm...they did very well, I worked them hard and I see a lot of potential for this year...WE ARE GONNA HAVE FUN GIRLS...I love those laps, push-ups and coninuous spins till their arms fall off =)Anyways, that lasted from July 25-August 3.
-I registered for all of my classes for this semester and got all of my books =)
-I have been training with the UM Hurricanettes/Guard and it is a lot of work but I am use to the hard core practices...I am so excited about this upcoming football schedule and performances, if anyone is intrested the first UM game is Sept. 3 it's against FSU and will be televised on ESPN =D
-I start my own Band Camp with UM this upcoming Monday from 8am-10pm =/ That should be exciting, so I wont be going to Gables this whole week to train the girls but i'll be back the week after =) SHOW TIME!!!

Besides that, I have met many "intresting" people this month and I am sure I am going to be spilling "chismoteo and the 411" pretty soon! Oh, many of my friends will be leaving this week to college I will miss you all and I wish you all a pleasant trip and remember to have fun and call the "PARRANDERA" =)

Why you shouldn't break Tradition =O

Ok well, tradition is to go to the beach in the morning and then at night to go to the Biltmore and watch the fireworks show, every fouth of July. Everything was going as planned, we all went to the beach with the family and friends and had a fun time...Erika didn't go because she was sun-burned from the the previous day that she went with some people from her job snorkeling. Well, it was a little diffrent this year because I decided to invite some of my friends(Josie, Xiomara and Jaika) who weren't doing anything to tag along and have fun with us. Anyways, Josie mentions that there is a "free" concert in Downtown by Bayside and Bayfront Park that Power 96 was hosting. So, I immidiately called Erika and told her about this and we were all excited in going with Josie and company. However, we felt a little "iffy" about breaking tradition at the Biltmore, but decided to go anyhow. The people who were performing that night were Akon who sings "Mr. Lonely," Pretty Ricky who sing "Grind on me," and Pitbull who sings that dirty song "C***" We are sure they sing more songs but since we really don't go out a buy dirty CD's we didn't know much else about them. So, we get there and there are thousands of people and we see some old friends in the crowd but not too close to the stage(smart people!) Moving on, Josie wanted to go to the bottom really close to the stage, so, we go down and as we are going down we are mosh pitted by crazy people who are freaking out aboout seeing Pretty Ricky. We were all so scared I think I was the prepiest person there, all of us were freaking out except for Josie(she's our ghetto/cubanasa friend). It was a mad house in there, it was hot, sticky, nasty, there were smelly people and sweaty bodies. Besides that we felt like we were in a ghetto...I mean were not going to say it was AWFUL because we personally thought it was funny and amusing to watch such diffrent people act stupid but we can honestly say that it was an "intresting" experience, but definitely NOT for us, Gables people!!!

This post is especially for VINCENT...

Hi Vincent how are you?! Since you are "not my pal" anymore it's ok! Well, to keep you entertained and updated because I know how much you love to read this LJ, let me start off by saying that "NOOOOOOO" I am not going to tell you or anyone for that matter who "thing boy" is. Trust me if I were to tell you, las cosas cambiarian, and it faded away, so there is no point in you trying to figure it out. Ok, moving on, DCI, is Drum Corps, it is independent bands and guards that work on a marching show for the entire summer and then go compete and put on shows for millions of spectators around the country and world(www.dci.org). Who ever wants to do this and be part of this must audition for whichever corps they like and want to be part of. Moreover, I went to see them on Saturday and I was flabergasted...WOW!!! Oh and guess what I learned how to swin under water today and do a hand stand and a front flip. I thought of you because you are all water-lovy doby and crap! I also have some chisme about Ogre ;) Ya, estas entretenido? Anyways, loser don't say que yo estoy perdida because NO! Try to keep in touch sangano because you are my "Tacky, Tacky" pal =)

I am an official HURRICANETTE/HURRICANE GUARD member !!!

Well, the day started early like always because I am a freak and I have to make sure I am always on time! But, this time I was a little to early at UM, my auditions were suppose to begin at 11am and I arrived at the school at 9:50am...I am so rediculous. Anyways, Right when I was going to ask this lady for directions she turns around and...it was the QUEEN of Colorguard, April Gilligan herself!!! =O She asked me if I was there for the auditions and I was like "uhuh" so, she told me to go with her and I was like in "aww." She then asked me what school did I go to and I told her I had just graduated from Gables and she was like "oh were you a Gablette?" I was like "NO >=O I was in the Gables Guard" Once I told her that a huge smile ran across her face and she was like "oh so do you know who I am?" and I was like of course! She then asked me if I was going to try out for Braddock Independent (for those of you who don't know what that is it is an Independent "World" Guard and the best Guard in South Florida!)I was like HECK yeah I am going to try out and she was like good, good and then asked me what piece of equipment I spin and I told her I do all three (Flag, Rifle, Sabre) but that I favor Flag(Flag Diva)! She was like oh thats awesome! So yea, When eleven hit, we all filled out a registration sheet, that required out height, weight, and measurements and what we would like to do, either Guard, Pom or Dance. I choose Guard obviously and then they took a picture of us. We then went into a gym and began learning a Pom and Dance routine. It was not as easy as I thought, but I cought the routine quickly and I think I did a pretty decent job in them. So yea, she then called out the people who made it. Everyone who made it is required to do all three things but they will obviously be doing the one they preferred more than the other two. I was so happy, once I got home I called everyone and made a HUGE deal about it...lol!

The BACKSTREET BOYS new album, "Never Gone" comes out today!

Apart from the love's of my life releasing a new album, this week is suppose to be pretty exciting =D On Saturday I have the UM Guard (Hurricane Guard) auditions in the morning...that should be pretty cool, I am so nervous though, I REALLY hope I get in, if I do that is going to be so much fun because I get to travel with the rest of the squad, the band, the hurricanettes and of course the UM football team ; ) for the enitre football season! Anyways, that same day at night my aunt Jane wants me and 10 other girls from my high school Colorguard squad to perform at their church our Championship Winterguard routine "Gladiator" I said yes, but now I need to gather 9 other girls and practice our show, which we have not performed since the Spring Concert =/ Hopefully we get to do it and hopefully it's at night because if it's during the day I can't because of auditions. Apart from that, Erika came over yesterday because we were both bored and we wanted to watch movies. So, my mommy takes us to Taco Bell because she had a craving for some disgusting burrito crap, and Erika mentions something a little disturbing that her, "T", Roxana and Dana were talking about the day they went on that adventure without me...something dealing with a certain stench! It is funny how something so nasty can be talked about freely without a care in the world, if you all have no idea what I am talking about, the conversation was based on a certain "stench" after practice >=O So yea we go to Blockbuster and my mom drops us off ther and goes to look at paint colors for our house. We rented what we have been dying to see for about a month now, Disney's "Anastasia" for those of you that know me fairly well, know that I am a sucker for Disney movies especially Disney Princesses...they are all my friends! Apart from that, we also rented one of my favorite movies "Beaches" but we didn't get to watch it because it was already too late . So yea, I absolutely LOVE "Anastasia" she is now added into my favorite Disney Princesses list along with Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora and Snow White =) Well, that's basically it for now, I am still waiting for some Parranda to happen...xoxo

Hey whats up? I had a pretty good weekend, on Saturday night I went to the movies with "T," Dana and Roxana, followed by dinner at Hooters...that was amusing because Roxana is so freakin rude, lol j/k, I love you Roxana! After that we sat at Starbucks for like an hour and talked about a whole bunch of stuff, cough, cough (lol). After that we drove all the way to Key Biscayne and back. Then all the way down US1 and into the grove in Dana's convertible listening to Sublime and BonJovi and then this is the best part...while we were stuck in traffic smack in the middle of the grove "T" and Roxana decide to play Vanilla ice and Michael Jackson's Thriller, FULL BLAST so the entire Grove can hear it. It was a fun Saturday. On Sunday I hung out with an old friend that I hadn't hung out with for a while, Carmen. We went to the movies and I chickened out when we went to see "High Tension" then her b/f Chris and their friend David, Carmen wanted to call it a double date but it really wasn't, but he was a cool kid! Anyways, that was fun because I miss hanging out with her. OMG the parental units are driving me insane =O! No wonder kids grow up so Fucked up! Works going well and I am learning a lot of new things and complicated dance work. Well, thats it for this weekend and i'll catch up with you later =)

I am going to go see the ... BACKSTREET BOYS!!!

On Friday I was able to get tickets, floor seats,to the Backstreet Boys concert on July 22, along with my Backstreet Boys partner in crime...Erica(Erica with a "c")! I am so excited. Well, anyways as Erika mentioned earlier we went to the movies on Thursday and saw "The sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" it was a really good movie and everyone should go see it, not just girls...guys too! It was funny because when we were at Sunset that day we saw a mess of people we knew (cough, cough, sarku Japan!). Well, apart from that, adventure yesterday I went to the theatre once again, but this time with my two other best friends, who Erika would like to call my "IB friends" w.e. I went with Tara and Tati and Tati's younger brother Mauricio, it was soooooooo much fun, they think I am crazy, i don't think I am that bad but according to them they say that I am funny (i guess so), so we saw "Monster in-law" it was a cute movie and Tara was saying how I am as dramatic as the mother in law...for those that know me...AM I REALLY DRAMATIC? Well, I have admitted to myself that "yes" I have a "thing" for a certain someone! I told Erika about this and she was like " I knew it, i knew it" and for the rest of the day was giving me the Picara look. Besides that, this little thingy I have is percisely that... "A little thing" I will make it end a.s.a.p, I know no one knows what the heck I am talking about, but let me just tell you all that I will not let this "thing" become anything else other than a weekly "thing." I don't really like him, I like someone else, so that is why this nonsense MUST end. Well today my oldest friend (not in age), is coming over my buddy, my pal, Camila! She is apparently working for some marketing crap and has to try to convince my family to buy some thing there(lol)...good luck! Well, i started working at Arthur Murray yesterday and I am in training to become a dance instructor, it's really fun because i've learned all these different types of dances i've never done like rumba, tango, swing, hustle, fox trot, samba, mambo, etc. It's very exciting and depending on my ability in dance I can start giving lessons very soon. Anyway I'm doing good so far It's just odd because it's nothing like the dancing that i'm used to doing ( ballet, jazz, and modern). Today after work i went to my partner in crime's house and watched a movie and we went to sunset and watched "the sisterhood of the traveling pants" and we cried like idiots the whole time. The night ended quite amusing because we saw "sarku japan" (cough, cough) no names, and she made us go hide. Oh, a couple of weeks ago we saw the guy that took yese to prom junior year it was hilarious the second she saw him she ran into traffic to hide behind a shoe rack not to mention his best friend saw us so the guy probably found out we were there. Anyway i'm about ready to jet, peace out! So yea, I woke up at the usual time 6:30am because Josie told me she was going to pick me up to go running...I should have known better (Josie is the ultimate Cubana). I waited and waited, then I decided to call her and of course she dosen't pick up, so I begin to worry. Then finally she calls me at like 9:30am (2 hours after she told me she was going to pick me up)saying that she overslept! If it were someone else I would have been upset but it was Josie, and you gotta love Josie! Anyways, today was an absolute waste of day, I did nothing,dounut,zero,zigarato,zip! I was so upset I felt like a lump on a log, i'm use to doing things...usually more than I can handle. Thanks to my Ogre hater pal, I wasn't as bored but still I was so desesperada! Hopefully tomorrow is better and Josie picks me up on time to go running or picks me up at all for that matter! By the way, we must give thanks to la imbecil, "T" for helping us out with the LJ and Ali who answered all our dumb questions. We never thought we would do this...but we did! So, we just graduated ('05) and we decided to update all of our friends on what we will be doing with our lives.

Yese- I will soon be attending The University of Miami and will be in Their Colorguard squad,and will be auditioning for the Independent World Guard...Braddock Independent. For their Winterguard season.
